The European Union’s EU4Business Initiative serves SMEs as the beneficiaries of EU support in the Eastern Partnership countries — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. EU4Business supports SMEs by improving access to finance, promoting better business regulations, upgrading services to business, and taking advantage of trade opportunities. In 2019, EU4Business supported SME growth through 116 projects whose budgets were worth a total of €787.33 million.
