About the project: Lviv Design Partnership is a platform for interaction between design agencies, business, education and authorities to develop the design sector in Lviv. The project is part of the British Council’s Creative Spark program. Lviv Design Partnership organizes thematic meetings, specialized events, discussions and different practices for the participants and partners of the project. The project is focused on the creative entrepreneurship, which is the study of best practices, skills development and project implementation. Lviv Design Partnership was initiated by the Lviv National Academy of Arts (Department of Art Management and the Department of Graphic Design) and the economic development agency PPV Knowledge Networks. British partner Cardiff School of Art & Design (Cardiff Metropolitan University) is a consultant for the project.

Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme is a five-year initiative to help develop the creative economy and enterprise skills across seven countries in Central Asia, (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia) and Ukraine. The programme has been developed in response to an underdeveloped creative sector and a demand for entrepreneurship training in these countries. Creative industries have driven economic growth in the UK. We want to use this experience and expertise to support sustainable development and social welfare. Creative Spark is managed and funded by the British Council.
