Lviv It Cluster is a network of leading Lviv-based IT companies (primarily outsourcing services), local Unviersities and local authorities in charge of economic development. The Cluster aims to foster industry's development in Lviv, to increase quantity and quality of human talent for the industry and to ensure that the industry is linked with the Lviv development strategy. 

The idea of setting up an IT cluster in Lviv was raised in 2010. After the feasibility analysis carried out by PPV Knowledge Networks in 2010, the company was hired by Softserve, N-iX, and Eleks to manage the Cluster set-up process and later to act as a cluster management organisation. Under PPV Knowledge Networks in 2010-2012 the Lviv IT Cluster has grown its membership, implemented first joint projects with leading local Universities (Lviv Polytechnic University, Lviv National Franko University and Ukrainian Catholic University).  In early 2013 Lviv IT Cluster established its own full-time management team.
