Role of PPV: PPV experts analyzed the innovation ecosystem of Ivano-Frankivsk to understand the city's strengths and opportunities, the importance of each stage in the development of innovations, and the roles of ecosystem participants.

Details: The diagnosis of the innovation ecosystem  describes the existing innovation system of the Ivano-Frankivsk community and opportunities for its development. For the study, experts applied the Ecosystem Pie Model and the Matrix of Impact Levels and Types of Innovation Support. The analysis revealed that to create an effective system, new approaches to the development of human capital, knowledge, and infrastructure are required.

Experts will use this diagnosis to develop a strategy of innovation as part of the Strategy of Ivano-Frankivsk.

This analysis was developed as part of the project "New Economy of Ivano-Frankivsk" – support for new clusters of innovative economic activities in Ivano-Frankivsk, funded by the European Union under the "Mayors for Economic Growth" program.

NEF is implementing by a consortium of partners: Executive Committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, innovation center Promprylad.Renovation, urban laboratory METALAB, economic development agency PPV  and platform Teple Misto. The project is financed by the European Union under the Mayors for Economic Growth Facility.
