Dobropillya Centre for Municipal Development was set in in 2013 by the members of the Dobropillya City Council (Donetsk oblast) as a local economic development agency. Its mission is to strengthen institutional capacity of the local authorities and to increase the quality of life of the local community (Greater Dobropillya region). 

 

The institution had been established by the team from PPV Knowledge Networks and CSR Ukraine Community within a DTEK (energy company) sponsored project within their social partnership programme with local communities. Since then, PPV Knowledge Networks have partnered with the Centre in several joint projects, e.g. in the project to set up a business support centre in Dobropillya.
