The project supports decentralization reform in Ukraine. The main task for our team in this project is to support municipalities to create the best conditions for doing business for business and investments even during the ongoing war.

PPV Knowledge Networks Involvement:

• Support in the selection of municipalities for participation in the TSP “Business-friendly municipality” (60 municipalities, with less than 50 000 people)

• 5 seminars and 2 workshops. Development, adaptation training program ‘Business-friendly municipality’. Co-delivery of seminars and workshops within the training program on the theme 'Business-friendly municipalities' 

• Selection of municipalities after training program (30 municipalities) They will be conceptualizing their development projects.

The Ukraine Local Empowerment, Accountability and Development Programme, in short U-LEAD with Europe, is financed by European Union and its member states Germany, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Estonia, and Slovenia to support Ukraine to establish multi-level governance that is transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of the population of Ukraine.
